Finally downloaded the remaining pics from Janice's facebook :) Been wanting to update this post for a long time but wasnt ready yet... so here goes

This was a very impromtu gathering as most of us has a very busy schedule for Aug esp for those preparing for wedding stuff, baby & myself for the operations. I'm glad everyone turn up & i hope we continue to keep in touch as we move on in life...

This is also probably the last group gathering before Estee give birth to her bb boy anytime within next week... exciting exciting, i'm really nervous for her & looking forward to hear the good news...

I m finally back home ... Been up since 3am trying to get back to sleep but I m just too wide awake ... Right beside Me is ni ni sleeping v soundly with consistent breathing ...

I just finished looking through Facebook n came across winnie bb photos ... He has grown up a bit since day one... Having vv cute expressions in every photo... All babies are especially cute to me when they don't make a fuss... I wonder how my bb is getting on inside me .. Been feeling weird rumbling below.. I m still unsure if that's bb moving or just my wound acting up..

I m counting down to 27 sep the detailed scan to find out it's xiao ai or xiao Jun ... Pls open up ur legs this time n let us solve the mystery ...

My wound is getting better n pain threshold level up I hoped .. Past one week was a torture both mentally n physically. Hospital stay is nv pleasant , the nurses n services are good what I meant is the experience ... Having to endure pain without using the morphine n pain killer.. Having a urine bag attached to ur bladder was a new experience .. I finally understand hw the old folks feel to feel so weak n helpless..

Well I m glad everything is over now... I m enjoying my one month break at home .. Though its boring without Internet & hot ... Thank goodness iPhone can still access Facebook n msn ...

3 more weeks n my holiday will end so I m treasuring every single minute ..

Operations is finally over, both bb & i are fine... However this one month is still the monitoring period... need to take extra care to ensure bb is fine...

Here's a summary of what i went through... honestly speaking i was more worried rather than nervous... Had the shitty feeling before i went in.

8:00am - Check in @ the Admission Department & was assign the ward/bed

8:20am - Brought down to the Day Surgery waiting area... A nurse / doctor than pre access my condition for that day eg. blood pressure, standard questions

9:00am - Brought up to the operating area @ level 2 and was told to change into the operating robe. That's where i bid goodbye to my mom... Another nurse came & ask me the same standard questions again

9:30am - Brought into the operating threater & lie on the bed with many spot lights shinning on you (similar to the drama)... The Anthetistic(Not sure of the spelling) then came in and ask the same standard questions again & inserted the injection tube into my left hand



9:45am - Dr Khong came in for a prep talk & inform me we are ahead of schedule..

10:00am - Surrounded by a group of medical folks & was told to breath into the oxygen mask.. that's suppose to make me drowsy but after trying for 10 mins i was still awake so they went ahead to give me the injection and afterwhich i was off to la la land...

11:20am - (Hao gt an sms fr the hospital) - Operation complete & i was wheel to the recovery area ... i keep hearing pple calling my name but i was unable to open my eyes.. i could only keep rolling my eyes

12:00pm - Transfered to the ward to rest

To sum up, i had a 10 cm cut to remove a 6cm cyst which initially i thought it was only 0.57mm... I guess this cyst is also the one that gave me cramps each month. Hopefully the pain i went through is worth it to get rid of this problem forever.

Well everything is over now, my pain is not as bad as 3 days ago. A big thanks to all my frenz who kept me in prayers & showed me concerns. Look forward to meet up with you gals again. I shall update when i am better.

As my tummy continues to grow, i thought it would be better for me to rearrange my items before i become less mobile. I really detest cluttered & untidy environment. Hopefully with the little one coming along, we can continue to keep our house tidy. I love my big wardrobes & cupboards.

I am still thinking if we should have a baby room & how to make it more unisex if my BB turn out to be a boy...Currently there's more than enough space to accomodate baby stuff in our room. We probably just need to buy a baby cot which is convertiable to play pen when he/she grows older. Let's wait till we know the gender before we plan any further.

Aside fr storage, i have also organize my photo albums & done up a baby expenses tracker file... i feel more settled mentally when things are carefully mapped out in my life...same for Ni Ni, looking forward to come up with our checklist together in time to come... probably after i survive the cyst operation.

Here's a summary of bb from week 6 to 12. I have made little notes to mark the growth. Hope one day we would be able to show & tell BB his/her creation progress.

Mid Aug is coming... need to go for operations soon. Will BB survive ? Though Doc say only a tiny risk is involve but i'm still worried... Will leave it to the Doc & God's hands.

Anyway i'm totally into these socks now.. wondering if i ever get the opportunity to buy them this year..I hope to know which pair to buy by end of sept or early oct

Got a call from KK hospital today to update that my BB has very low risk for down syndrome. It's a combination of measuring the baby's neck, nose bridge & my blood test i took last week. Glad i didnt get my arms poke 5 times for nothing... phew

Now i am only worried for the cyst operation which is coming up on 18 aug 10. After this i hope there wont be anymore hicupps.. pls let me enjoy my 2nd trimester ..
