Woke up today feeling v satisfied.. slept for almost 11 hours.. was halfawake around 7 plus, heard my mom leaving to go work and again 8 plus heard my dad goin out for his usually mornin walk.. heard the raindrops outside etc.. It really feels like heaven under the comfy blanket in a rainy weather like tis...

Spent my sat morning & noon at Hao's home watchin my bf is type B.. the show is nice of coz starring Lee Dong Gun & his on screen cum real life gf. I think they make a great couple...i wonder if Hao has regreted buyin sweet 18 for us to watch tat made me went crazy over lee dong gun....

Currently i am watching stained glass starring Lee dong gun which is also showing on tv nw... i'm at the particular part where its all touching and teary...watched 7 discs ytd..used abt 5 pieces of tissue? heee

Ok enough abt dramas.. i finally got my adaptor fixed ytd at Sim Lim for 45 bucks.. i dun tink it's suppose to be so ex but at least its better than buying a brand new one that cost abt 140. While waitin for the man to get it fixed, we waited at macdonalds over my long desired Banana Milk Shake.. Banana seems to be the "in drink" in spore nw.. the HL Milk company is actively advertising their banana milk with the silly looking cow singing the banana song.. If ur in spore, u see it everywhere on the tv mobile and local tv. Steph and i are also tryin to learn tat silly song.. let us know if you gt the lyrics...

Starbucks are also promoting their banana flavoured mocha.. i tried that b4 already.. its too sweet for my liking and it doesnt have much banana taste in it..i haven try the HL banana milk though.

B4 i end off, i'm gona plan some gatherings soon fr next week onwards..esp with kx, ash & jolie as well as janice, melanie, lihua and st when she's back.. if u gals read my blog, make urself free ya.. Finally got the internet connection set up in my new laptop and the 2 most important things that are lacking are MS office software and access to the server.. So i spend the whole of today surfing net @ work.... the time flies today.. Went VCD shopping with my colleague during lunch and i bought the " My bf is type B" @ 50% discount.. heheee shes jus as crazy as me over tw, hk and kor dramas.. maybe can intro desiree to her hehe.. i'm sure we all will hit it off v well... *hopefully finding colleague with common interest will make me enjoy goin to work more..* Weather has been crazy this few days.. super great weather to sleep in but had to force myself to go work in the rain.. arrgghh..

Anywei went to Mango crazy salea after work today.. was rather interested in their jacket n mini skirts but too crowded so end up didnt get anything.. i guess i can do away with them.. I am nw eyein on the PUMA jacket (green & white).. abit ex @ $79 bucks but jus keepin them in my heart till pay day comes.. i am running low on cash too so i need to watch what i spend...

At long last it's fri.. i'm gettin all ready for my weekend.. i'm gona b a couch this weekend drooling over Lee Dong Jian...

Anywei updates on my work.. i'm gettin used to it slowly.. my PC has finally arrived.. i am giving myself a pat on the shoulder coz i survived 10 days of 8 hours plus yaking on the phone or just plainly staring into space at work..

The new laptop is vv chio.. feel like gettin rid of my acer.. the adaptor is spoilt coz i squash the head and the drive isnt working coz i put in a corrupted DVD some months ago..

I always wanted a silver covered laptop.. my acer is also silver covered but black inside..

But look the Dell one is also silver inside..YEA....

Last but nt least i really cant wait for fri evenin to come..

I am having a terrible flu rite nw.. got the bug from my colleague.. hope i didnt pass it to Hao ytd.. so i am sittin at home nw nuaing and surfing net... Spent the whole of morning on youtube.com watching furnie clips, did some ironing n cooking in between.. and nw nuaing again on the bed with my laptop...

It's father's day.. what have i done? Nothing actually.. suggested and tot of goin out together for a meal as a family but he say dun wan lar.. i'm used to it.. Maybe its bcoz there's only 3 of us??? But anywei

Hao's mom invited me over for dinner at their house to celebrate father's day.. as usual we had my fav style of steamboat..It was a simple and usual dinner affair to them but it holds a different meaning to me..i can feel the sense of family wamth and togetherness... all of us gathering together waitin for the food to be cooked, helping each other to tk dishes with the tv in the background.. thanks dear for making me feel part of ur family...

Back to sat morning... i cooked spaghetti instead... ..jus the usual bolognese sauce with melted cheese on it..



had fried eggs/ham as side dish.. was suppose to have 2 round eggs but i broke one.. anywei this is my fav hawken style cooked egg... mr hairband taught me hw to cook when kx , ash and him came over to stay in brisbane last yr...



taste very yummy .. the more cheese the merrier..oh dun forget add in a little tomato sauce to make the taste better.. *Bernie's secret*

After a heavy lunch, hao and i settled down to watch Cyril's magic show on you tube. I'm totally hooked on it... he's really amazing. The buger trick is really unbelievable.. you got to watch it then you know... Here's the link .. can slowly tk ur time to watch...

Around 3 plus.. Hao and i went Bugis.. he went for his Jap class and i was left to shop/rot alone for 2 hours plus.. At first i tot.. OMG hw to shop 2 hours alone.. v sianz.. in the end this is how i spend my 2 hours..

4:00pm to 4:30pm - walked around seiyu... hoping to find some nice office wear on sale but i got nothing...
4:30pm to 5:00 pm- walked around parco still hoping to find smth ... bought a packet of chocolate raisins from watson
5:00pm to 5:45pm- ended up in Kinokuniya book store... stayed there to read magazines... at the same time i also received a call .. Congrats mam.. u have won the ballot to NDP preview.. haah i was like stunned.. OMG.. i signed up for fun coz i tot so many pple sign up i dun think i will win.. but anywei i will still going to collect the tix....it has been dono how many donkey years since i last watch the NDP life.. This will b the 2nd time in my life if i really go....
5:45pm to 6:20pm- Grabbed a drink from mos burger... rested for a while and continue shopping..finally i got a pair of pants from some shop inside parco.. original price was 57 but it was on 30% sale so i got it at 40 bucks.. a little ex but i realli like it and can wear to work so okie lah... once in a blue moon...
6:20pm to 6:30pm - i was in bugis village
6:30pm - walk all the way to little india station to catch the north east line.. its a long but enjoyable walk..

Conclusion - 2 and a half hours alone isnt really as lonely as i tot.. i noticed alot of things..
1. Guys often yawn behind their gf/wife's back.. i caught a few guys doin that .. haha it was so furnie i nearly laugh out loud.. one saw me lookin at him and he looked abit embarrased?
2. Guys are often spotted outside the ladies looking at other gers while their partner are queuing in the toilet.. i dono why the ladies are forever so pack...
3. One lady was reading a magazine in Kino which i am also interested in.. while waitinn for her to finish.. i flipped almost 6 magazines around her b4 she bear to put it down.. so dammed irritated...
4. If i stepped into a shop and the sales person greets me.. i be out in less than 30 secs.. if they leave me alone, i can spend at least 1 min inside?
5. I hope not to shop alone too often coz i always end up impulse buying..
6. I try to be a quick shopper so Hao wont yawn behind my back while i shop ....

3rd day at work.. i tink i have dropped into a fiery pit waitin to explode. I have nv in my life felt so stress up.. its nt with the new environment that i haven adapt to or the pple i work with.. It's a pyschological barrier that i cant overcome since my school days. That is to do business presentations and answering questions that i myself is totally clueless about. However, i tell myself i am nt goin to give up now.. nt b4 i have given it a real try... *fingers cross* its really not gona be easy.. i wish i had someone to bury my head in rite nw.. no point voicing out to people nobody will understand the difficulty of overcoming psychological barriers.. i am in this alone...

Well forget abt stress at work.. i am nt gona dwell on it.. Steph was v nice to accompany me on sun to shop for office wear..I manage to get some tops from Space... nt really my style, something i wouldnt even bother to bring it to the fitting room to try one.. but i was desperate and i nv know if i didnt try.. Well i tink i look great in it.. its a new me.. gt slimming effect.. so i bought 2 .. nt cheap leh.. even with 10% discount.. but bo bian..

Was brooding over what to eat for dinner when we stumble upon the xin wang cafe (HK cafe) at Marina Sq.. i was surprise to see it there as i tot they only had one branch at Kovan.. so our dinner was settled.. we ordered...

I nv forget the taste.. its SUPER Q... very very yummy.. its very delicious.. i dono i must say it how many times.. i dun mind ordering them again

As for drinks, we were extremely cold so we ordered hot barley, hot soya milk and hot milk tea.. all 3 of them taste very sweet...had to ask the waitress to add in hot water for us.I guess the hongkies must have sweet tooth ...

We also ordered a side dish but i 4gt to tk pic of it.. i dun tink i can continue typing coz it reminds me of something funny that happen tat day.. haha the waiter did smth out of the extra ordinary and we both ended up in tears and laughters.. dammed furnie..

Overall i enjoyed sun very much..wasnt really affected by the wet weather.

This will be a rather short post for the concern friends of mine. Special thx to Kaixi, Ziwei, Hao and Steph who gave me lots of encouragement on the first day. Many thanks to Gen and liwen as well..

Some updates on myself.I have just started the new challenge on Thus and the first 2 days at work were spent on training. My collegues are pretty nice.. and i am still warmin up to them. So far there's nothing much to do as we are still undergoing training. I started with interviewing candidates on the phone. Before every phonecall i hav to read thr the resume and think of some questions to ask.. There's a standard guideline but sometimes we hav to ask additional question esp for guys who had missing gaps or people who are leaving their permanent jobs. It's good to have someone to buddy up with goin through the training together...

Went for a pre employment checkup on sat morning.. was advised to go earli around 7 plus to avoid the crowd but i just simply couldnt wake up .. so i left house around 915am and i took a cab to the Satas at chai chee.. i spend less than half an hour there.. coz there were nobody.. i'm glad i didnt go at 7 plus and missing out on my sleep... the rest of the day was spend lazing at Hao's house playing Ps and his computer.. and window shopping at hougang mall..

Cant think of anything else to write and i guess i shall stop here.. Hope u guys update ur blog soon.. i'm bored.. haha

I cant really remember the story but from the shots of the movie advertisement, i think i watched it b4 in Oz already.. one of my housemate, Janice has the DVD.. There are many parts to it too...

I feel very much refreshed today as i had almost 11 hrs of sleep. For the past few days, i avoided wearing contact lens hoping that the redness would go away and eyebags become smaller. I believe sleep is the most effective cure for all these.

I am lookin forward to next wed gathering with ziwei & joyce .. the last time we met up was in Feb Ziwei's 21st bday.. speakin of that i haven gt the photos taken at her bdae from her yet haha.. so long liao..cant believe it that we actually know each other for 14 yrs already.. tats VERY Long..furthermore they dun blog so this is what makes our gathering more important in keeping in touch n updating each other.. I kind of excited coz i gt a feeling joyce is gona announce her engagement or marriage? hehe... Anywei i also just received a rom invitation card from Joyce (my poly fren).. shes is the first among my good frens to get hitched.. and i believe the trend is gona start soon.. i am happy that she finally found the one she love n is willing to commit the rest of her life to. Congrats to u and Den.

Wah 2 Joyce"s" getting hitched.. and i wonder who's next.. probably Janice Leck? Estee? Jolie? hee.. these 3 are the most likely ones i guess.. well dun all get hitched at the same time k.. i b broke haha.. No matter who gets married, i will be happi for them.. but most importantly i placed financial stability first.. at hao and mine current status.. we need more time.. maybe 5 yrs, 7 yrs? I dono =X.

The reason why i am sittin at home today is bcoz i noe mon is gona b a super busy day for me goin for interviews n stuff.. and also wana save money. Its only 4 days into June and i already spend est. 300 bucks? i better watch what i spend.. dun wana eat grass at the end of the month..

I really really enjoyed myself ytd.. it has been dono hw many donkey days tat i can sleep as late as i wan..tk my time to do things at home and go out shopping.... i wonder why when i can afford to sleep late, my body always wakes me up at 830am-9am.. but anywei it beats waking up at 715am lah..

Well started off the day with sending some resumes, packed my messy cupboard.. prepare to go out..

Nw my clothes are vv neatly arranged.. gave away most of my old clothes sometime ago so my cupboard is nw more spacious...I like to arrange my clothes in colour sequences and also tops n bottoms separately n further classify into formal/casual. Hee its calling me to fill it with new clothes from the GSS but i said i'm sorry coz the poor owner me is job hunting and need to save money...



I didnt noe i have so much bags... but i cant bear to throw them away... 3 laptop bags, lots of kaikai bag and a handful of working bags..I like big bags..



Decide on Seoul Garden lunch buffet which is $13.90 ++ for adults. Nt too ex i guess..i kinda of miss the times when i have the privilege of using student card to eat at $9.90++. The reason why seoul garden is bcoz hao likes soup based steamboat and i like stir fry steamboat style.. seoul garden provides a combination...

Anywei the highlight was they had quite a few new flavours of chicken.. like Coffee Chicken/Curry CHicken, new flavours of sotong n some others i cant remember.. In addition, they also have dimsum, corn soup, some sort of weird rice etc...the only thing missing was the drumblets.. but they had wu xiang, keropok and fried fish/sotong balls instead...

Here's our round one...n i tell u.. the coffee chicken is VERY nice.. it has a little coffee taste in it.. we took more of it in round 2.. Shiock.. finger licking good.. I wan to eat it again..


Here's round two with our meat almost done n Hao adding more stuff to his soup..we had ginseng chicken soup which i tink it taste jus like normal chicken soup.. next time i will jus order chicken soup.. save the $3 upgrade...


If you notice.. i had veg also.. its nt healthy to have all meat but no veg..last but nt least, i ate too much so i only made do with one round of dessert tat is ice cream.. below the plain looking icecream i gt lots of atap jis (dono wat in english) and also raisins hehe...



Anywei the reason why i have so little pics is bcoz hao doesnt want to tk any.. nt sporting at all.. baddie..

After a heavy lunch.. we went window shopping.. i wasnt expecting any crowd as it was office hour.. but i forgot sch holiday has started.. i see lots of crazy sch children.. so end up i didnt buy anything.. but Hao got a pair of new shoes.. oh one more thing.. i noticed that the clothes at far east do cater to pple in my age group.. i mean nt those in level one but those upstairs.. can go there next time.

First of all i wana wish Hao a very Happi Birthday.. Sry i cant spend the whole day with you ytd as i need to do handover and clear up some nitty gritty work.. This is the 5th birthday eh nope 4th birthday coz i was in oz that i celebrate with u. Do you still remember hw we spend ur bdae the past few yrs? Seems like after we step into the working world, we all seem tied up & drained that we spend lesser time together. What i feel more important is the quality of time we have together rather than the quantity rite? Anywei i hope u like the MP4 player. *May i borrow it some time?? heee* j/k my hp = mp4 player dun wori wont snatch fr u...

Tot it resembles ipop mini.. this is first time we invest in a less popular mp4 player and i hope it wont disappoint Hao.



On a separate issue, I cant explain the feeling i have rite nw.. its made up of 80% relieve, 10% worry and 10% sad. Relieve bcoz i freed myself from the tiring work life, i finish my contract assignment in one piece after 3 extensions, i did the handover smoothly ...and i can take a break finally.. Worry worry abt starting all over again in a new environment, worry abt pressures fr family or pple who will ask me so what u doin nw? working, rotting? ... Sad bcoz i gona miss my collegues.

I was still slogging away on the last day of my work... slog slog slog then my Manager, Vp and surprisingly the head brought me out for lunch. Nv in my life would i dream that i will gt to hav lunch with the head.. shes well known to be stern n strict.. it was really an honour. We had Indian lunch buffet at Raffles City..I am falling in love with Nanns & curry... *licks* mayb should bring my frends to try the muthu curry one day and they will understand.. heee At the end of lunch, they presented me with a present.. n i was stunned.. it was a Guess watch with 3 interchangable strap.. at tat point in time, i was so stunned and touched.. dono hw to explain.. but in short, i gona miss my collegues...
