Weekend over again.. another 4 more days to pay day.. greatest achievement for tis weekend is the opening of my UOB bank account.. Many thanks to Steph who accompained me to the bank otherwise i tink wait until next yr i sill haven go n open the account.. coz i'm lazy ke ke

We had a quick lunch at Bedok .. the curry still tastes as good as poly days.. spicy and it goes well with sugar cane drink. We took bus 7 to Orchard and i am begining to enjoy taking bus rather than Mrt coz it is less crowded, got seats and nice views.i have been taking bus home tis few days n i tink it much more enjoyable than mrt...

Enjoyed the retail theraphy very much.. bought a pants and top this week... its for both office and casual wear... i need more tops tat are not black , white or grey... wah i better stop buying b4 i overspend this month..

Today, Hao came over with breakfast cum lunch..

There are lots of new shops in far east which i tot i no longer belong to the Era there.. but i was wrong man .... the shops at level one are now changing their target market to "80s" pple tats us... shops like Tian, Future State, Shoe Box etc etc...

I can sense my shopping radar lighting up.. i am trying to buy clothes that i can wear to work and for casual purpose. Good quality clothes in Spore are realli realli expensive.. issiz bcoz i am brand conscious or the standard of living is high. From my past experience, even those imported clothes at bugis village can easily cost you 29.90 for a top and the quality isnt very good.. U can tell by touching the material and stretching it a little. i rather spend an extra bucks getting a brand with better quality material and last longer. I hate it when clothes goes out of shape after a few wash... On the other hand, how long is the lifespan of a piece of clothes in the cupboard? 3 months? 6 months? 1 year? Is it worth to spend so much on clothes? Afterall the purpose of wearing clothes is to cover up our body..

After thinking through, i still think image is very important in the working society... so it doesnt matter if i invest more on clothes rite? Just like guys investing in electronic products

My aim is to save at least $800 a month and my major investments each month are on food, transport and clothes.. which means i cut down on my other investments like entertainment. No more movies, vcds,ktvs etc etc.. maybe once in a while...

I walked past the Gain City fair again.. veryvery tempted to buy the digital camera.. Panasonic or Casio.. got many feedback fr frenz tat Casio suz.. tat make sense coz they are using pentax lens.. then most pple recommend cannon but i dun like cannon's design.. sianz.. waitin for comex to come...

I think i am going through some changes in my life rite now and its gona affect alot of pple around me. Well, cant be help... maybe i have changed in my character and attitude towards life..

Anywei i am determined to save up this month so currently i am veryvery dry until the 31 Aug when pay comes in.. hope nt to spend so much within this 10 days.. *prays hard* like wat steph say.. shes gona b a good ger.. to go home straight after work everyday for these 10 days . i tink tats a good idea to save money hehe...

Things i meant to do next month
- Open another bank account for spending purpose
- Maintain savings in my current bank account
- A hair treatment
- New specs (contact lens makes my eyes dry)
- Digital camera (Comex coming)
- Uzap/OTO slimbelt (if theres a special promotion).. gona use it for massage purpose coz back has been very tired and aching lately...

Tentively tats abt it.. but i am also open to expanding my wardrobe collection heee...I gave away 40% of my old clothes. So my cupboard is kinda empty. Even my mom gt more clothes than me..

I had a great time at the Co's Dinner and Dance.. The theme for this year is Asian delights.. was thinking over what to wear a few weeks back .. decided to rent the Korean outfit since nw its the Korean Craze.. actually a few hrs b4 i went for the event, someone told me on msn that i could have jus wore jeans n t-shirt representing Sporean hahaha.. funny? no? yes? well i tot it was a great idea.. could have saved 50 bucks on the rental LOL....

Well i won the best dressed award for that nite .. hehe was like a beauty pagent, there were indians, malaysian, shanghai, Japan, thailand etc etc I felt like a Cosplayer, coz pple keep comin up to me to request for photo taking .. Anywei, my table was also a pretty lucky table as almost everyone one went home with a prize.. Lucky draw, blahblah...

This week is Korean Craze week for me.

1. Had a gathering with Lisa, Su, Wen, Des, Rain at some Korean restaurant near Raffles Place.. the food is really good there.. I like the soup steamboat very much.. It got a special sweet taste probably bcoz of the beef.. realli delicious.. i wish i can afford to go there more often.. Its kinda ex.. our bill amt up till $111++ I guess its worth it coz we sat there for quite some time...

2. I am dressing up in Korean traditional dress for this year D&D. Since i already spent the rental money on it, shall make full use of it.. so i tot it be fun if i ask my mom to try it on.. Presenting my Korean Mama





Pretty rite? My mom and i had quite a bit of fun tking pics tis week.. Some of her n me in chomsum..i'm nt gona post them up haha.. i tink i look weird in a chomsum tats a little too big for me.. no figure also...Maybe 30 yrs down the road i will wear a chomsum but nt now...

From last year August till today.. we finally met up !!! This meeting has been postponed for almost 1 year.. i cant believe it myself.. since nw i am back in sunny spore, we will hav more opportunities to meet up.. lets look forward to pay day and after tat we can go shopping together.. Shall we shop for chi new yr clothes together this year?? I noe its abit early.. but both of us busy women, better prebook in advanced.. LOL

Nice recommendation from Estee.. the Soup Spoon.. i brought my cousin, Kaiyun to try tat out today... the Mushroom chicken SOLD OUT, so i tried the Tokyo Chicken Stew.. Not bad too.... comes with salad too.. healthy...forgot to take a pic of the soup .. i like the crusty bread top.. Yummy...


That's us with the additional side dish.. fisherman's basket.. i think this taste better than the ones at Yoshinoya...esp the scallops.. SHIOCK... many pple there.. so we didnt tk many pics...


Last but nt least, with the help of our hp, a pic of US. My face look dammed round in some of the pics.. i tink it has got to do with the angle.. pratise makes perfect har.. let me slim down more b4 we cam whore... but i am looking fwd to shopping ahha.. 17 more days to payday.. yeah!!!

Watched "click" with Hao today. We enjoyed the movie very much..It's abt a man, Michael feeling very tired after staying up all night to work and he becomes frustrated because he can't even figure out which of his remotes will turn on the TV set. Michael sets out to find the perfect device to operate all his electronic equipment and stumbles on an experimental one-of-a-kind souped-up gadget guaranteed to change his life. Michael quickly becomes addicted to this new rush of power, which literally allows him to have his cake and eat it too. But before he knows it, the remote is programming him, rather than the other way around. And try as he might, a panicked Michael can't stop the device from deciding which events of his life he'll experience and which ones he'll miss. Only then does he begin to truly appreciate and embrace his life — the good, the bad and the ugly.

** B4 i watched this movie, i always wanted to fast forward my life from a young girl into adulthood so that my mom would stop nagging at me.. but now being an adult, i wish i could turn back time.. well i guess i could no longer do that i should cherish each and every stage of my life now.. like instead of thinking to settle dw n start a family.. i should my life nw without commitments.... lol

After the movie, we decide to visit the airport..my i was amazed..the viewing mall at terminal 2 has finished their renovation .. there's something different abt the sky train. The food court has changed too...btw can anyone tell me the cafe beside burger king, in front of mini toons at terminal 2 used to be starbucks instead of coffee bean rite?? Hao kept saying coffee bean was there all along.. i am pretty sure it was starbucks..

I sinned again.. promised myself not to spend any more money on unnecessary stuff but i couldnt resist temptations.. i bought 3 pairs of shoes this week.. i have a weekness for white covered shoes...anywei my shoes are getting worn out.. i guess its time for a change...













Currently eyeing 2 dresses .. one from Future state and one from little match girl.. shld i or shld i nt sin further.... haha ...I like the one from Future state more.. its a tube polka dot dress... maybe i shall wait till i get my pay..

1. This yr national day is very special...I jus saw on the newspaper, one army guy propose to his gf on the big screen after the NDP celebration... what an idea... i guess its up to the guy on how one would propose.. i prefer a surprise though rather than lets go buy the ring together..

2. i stayed in office till 6:50 today but I am very happy ..a big thank q to Estee *winks* if nt for her, i wouldnt be this happy today.. *secret*

3. I am craving for pepper lunch's salad, bedok's xia jian and Korea BBQ meat..

Getting hungry already.. i'm off to bed.

The long awaited public holiday is finally here...National Day !!! This few days the radio stations have been playing those familiar national day songs.. it really brings back lots of childhood memory.. I wonder hws Harpreet my pri sch friend.. her bdae is tomorrow.. i wish i had kept in touch with her and the rest of the xiaopok family... Anywei i am very satisfied to have a few close frenz.

Last saturday, Steph and i explored areas of Spore that we both had not been too.. We started off with Holland Village.. A very cosy small town, reminds me of Hawken Village that has lots of eateries and slopes.. After which, we explored Mustafa... and i tell u i really cant stand the smell there.. it was horrible... i pratically breathe through my mouth ... but i am amaze that things sold there are really very cheap.. however i am still hesistant to buy things fr there..



Ended the day with a cup of Iced Chocolate at Coffee Bean.. vvvv relaxing and we really enjoyed...
