Pls pardon the spelling mistakes in the pics.. i cant chg them anymore.. very tired... Jus gt back fr the NDP preview. I must say live experience is indeed different from watching behind a tv...the atmosphere and the live performance and witness of the fireworks was a blast... Despite being almost the last few crowd to arrive, Steph and i got pretty good seats.. We are glad that we didnt join the kiasu pple who were there around 2pm... we reached there around 5.30pm..

Took a 15 mins walk to the stadium instead of queing for the shuttle bus which could tk around 45 mins.. while waitin to go into the stadium.. snapped some photos at the entrance...


Didnt really take long to get in as we didnt bring big bags.. grabbed our goodie bag and hurried along.. the first stop was to the toilet.. its the dirtiest one that i ever been.. i didnt even dare to breath thr my nose.. yucks..after tat we met David our poly fren.. hes one of the urshers there..



The parade thing start soon after we were settled down.. heng i didnt miss it.. i enjoy hearing the commands.. we got good seats (2nd last row fr the top) jus below the fireworks..surrounded by cute army officers..had a nice view

Well tats bcoz we were seated among the top rows, nearest to the fireworks so we need to use those umbrellas to protect our head fr the sparks.. haha i was wondering wah more free gift.. transparent umbrella.. haha nw i noe why its transparent.. Lol...i enjoyed the fireworks the most.. they were vv close.. its as if i could touch the sparks if i reach out my hands...

The crowd wasnt as bad as we tot.. overall its a nice experience.. will try to bid for the tickets again next year... yea..off to bed vv sleepy...

Its gona b a short post.. decided to go for the NDP preview later with Steph..Afterall its gona be the last year held there. It's bright n sunny but raining outside right now..haha weird weather rite.. it happens all the time. Anywei will try to snap some pics later.. my camera is lousy.. tot of gettin a new one but seems like nowadays i dun even tk pics already.. so mayb nt getting one.. save the money for smth else..

Finished watching Full House this morning..the show is very nice initially a little draggy at the last part but worth buying.. i like the songs in it too... enjoy the background music.. sry if it slows ur download..

After a long day at work, what i look forward most is to head stright home have a good bath n jus nua on my bed..i am currently watching Full House (a korean drama) which probably most of my friends have already watch b4 already.. rain is dammed cute.. haha but he is those typical MCP .. sianz..

Other than nuaing, watching vcd, the other enjoyment is to surf blogs.. most of my friends already stop updating.. well i guess everyone is busy with their work... anywhere there is this someone whom i am very close to... i realli dono how or what i shld say to make him feel better.. different pple face different kind of stress at work. Work is always difficult in the first stage... it takes time to adapt.. jus hope he can hang in there..

A big thank Q to Estee for emailing me the pics.. haa started the day with breakfast at S11 cafe somewhere in Hougang.. I swear i have eaten half boil egg but nt those from the coffee shop where u eat it with kaya toast.. Frankly speaking, i prefer properly cooked egg.. half boil egg taste abit gross....

Trying to crack the egg properly... the shell is dammed hot and i broke the yolk..

Verdict - egg taste just nice with the rite amt of soya sauce .. yummy.. would try it again next time if i can wake up on time for beakfast. lol

After bf, we went to church.. made a few new friends (Mavis + Edward).. cant really remember the rest.. opps.. anywei promised to give Estee a birthday treat so we headed to town.. had Japanese food.. OH boy.. i love the Unagi.. damed shiock..

After lunch its more shopping, gossips and gossips and resting till its dinner time again.. met up with Mavis, Edward and Han Cheng .. drove to Lao Pa Sat for dinner to celebrate Estee's birthday

Double E = Exciting and Expensive

1. Exciting
Cut the story short, Steph & i caught a thief in Metro paragon..it happen within split seconds.... While steph was looking at her stuff, i noticed a middle age guy roaming in the ladies department, nothing unusual as i tot he was waitin for his wife. He was looking aroundly nervously (which is normal coz guys are usually shy at that secion) and was the only person around there so he gt my full attention. what made me starred at him is he open up a brand new box of silicon bra even though there were some samples there... so i poked Steph and ask her to look... within a few seconds, he grabbed and squeezed the silicons into his back jeans pocket.. and walks off.. both of us were stunned.. thinking whether to alert the promoter n security.. in the end steph decide to tell the promoter abt it.. she checked the box, found it empty and went off to look for the security while steph n i kept watch..

Both of us were very excited.. the securities were nowwhere in sight.. dammed jus as we were abt to leave, we saw one security so steph and i told him abt the guy.. wahhh exciting deh.. but i guess by then the guy already noe that steph and i have saw him stole the 2 things and was getting nervous.. nt sure abt wat happened later.. coz we decide to leave the metro.. what disgusted us was nt his behaviour.. it was the way he squeezed the silicons cup .. YUCKs.. its those jelly like cup where some women put it in their bra to boost their boobs? Nevertheless, it was our first time witnessing a crime in action..

2. Expensive
I could resist the temptation not to shop.. end up spending around $115 on clothes, food and vcd.. counting down to pay day...

One of my colleague is going on Maternity leave soon and i will be taking over some of her orders..So currently on hand i only have It engineers and sales positions...I broke my own record ytd.. in which i interviewed 5 candidates in one day.. Super tiring.. i was trying nt to fall aslp when the last candidate came in at 6pm.. its really a long day for me ytd.. Anywei i have Nothing on HR or marketing related position.. will keep a look out for you guys k... You all can send me ur resume via emails so that i can pass around to my colleagues...

Currently i am also handling 2 mini projects. One is on e-portal training for the contract stuff on how to make claims, apply for leave, check their pay and blahh... part of the HR job scope as well as coordinating for attendees list for the charity walk on next sat 29th July.. So these had kept me busy for the whole of this morning...didnt even had time to go toilet..

I am grateful my manager has given me these opportunities to handle the mini projects.. it will help me lots in my resume updaates... anywei i am dead beat.. lookin forward to the weekend... i wana sleep in late...i guess i wont b updating my blog as often as b4 ... no pics to share tentively all in my hp and i lend my hp cables to manger.

I been wantin to meet up with some frenz lately.. will contact u guys soon...

i am rather sad coz i didnt manage to get my Joop dress.. sold out everywhere, left with Bugis.. maybe i go and buy after work tml.. hopefully the last piece is still there.. *fingers cross* i like it very much...

Anywei, Hao brought me to support his friend perfomance at the Soka association near SHPS today..its a different kind of religion and experience. The crowd there were very young and the performance is better than the one at Sembawang last time.. they have dance performance this time and better singers. Overall nt as boring as i tot..

15 more days to payday...i must save i must save.. i promise after the black dress i wont spend on clothes anymore.. really.. save save save...

Next year we will be celebrating our 10 years anniversary and many more years to go.. Throughout these 10 years, we celebrated each other birthdays, had our annual xmas photo taking at orchard, took lots of neoprints, share lots of gossips, adventurous cycling trips, badminton sessions, ktv sessions, swimming sessions...back then we seem to have lots of energy for so much activities...i realli miss those stress free days..

Nw, almost all of us have started working, our conversation revolve around work.. the stress and long hours we spend in office... the standard discussion of insufficient clothes to wear.. our relationship and the future. I gt one dream to fulfil with the 3 of you that is to go on a overseas trip together.. preferable Bangkok since Kaixi and Jolie has been there..

Kaixi the lucky gal is enjoying herself in Desaru but we never forget you wor.. coz we tot of eating Hao jian tat reminded us of you kk.. but since you werent there, we decide to have Xia Jian instead.. recommended by Ash... i took pics of all the sinful and delicious food we had.. A big thank Q to ash for sending all of us home after that....



Next time we are gona plan a cycling trip.. i hope i still remember how to ride.. i still have the fear of goin downslope ... the horror from Pulau Ubin is still deeply imprint in my mind.. did i cry? All i know was the bloody scene and changing of clothes in the forest ...haha the rest is just between us.

Just before i end, i wana complain my digital camera is getting cranky.. very soon my blog will b pictureless .. so i am also gona save up for a new digital camera hehe... so many things to save up for..

I seem to have quite a no of thoughts on my mind lately..esp when i am stoning and walking at the same time. Like this week..

1. I always thought the neighbourhood police post operate 24 hrs, i was quite surprise to see them close by 10am.

2. I noticed the blangadesh workers shaking their head at us when we walk past at my house area.. (honestly i think we deserve it)..The workers have been doing pathment repairs and fenced off some areas coz the cement are nt dried yet.. some idiot was lazy to walk one big round thus leaving a long trial of footprints on the pathment.. the blangadesh workers worked so hard only to be destroyed by some inconsiderate lazy person...When i walked back during the evening, i saw the ugly patches.. cement of different colour tone... imprint there...

3. I tink its human nature to be racist.. esp nw i am in a job that faces people, i need to be more sensitive when talkin to different "flavours".. i am glad to be a vanilla.. Imagine someone who rather hire vanilla with zero experience and train him over a chocolate and mocha who has lots of experience. I wonder hw do they survive esp the mocha, i see their resumes with expected salary of at most $1.1k

4. I accompanied my colleague to look for her wedding band.. she tried on many but have not find any that is suitable.. Although she nv say but i noe...so i asked her issiz bcoz the ring is thick? then she loooked at me and say..ya its so thick n heavy make her feel as if marriage is a heavy burden... (hun yin hao xiang heng chen zhong)... i agree with her...in fact, the greatest prob we are facing now is financial problem. I am complaining almost every month i overspend.. really takes alot of discipline to restrain myself from spending.

I enjoyed myself very much today. Got home around 11pm .. i am dead beat... Will start off with some pics ....



Snapshots of Wen, Desiree, Rain and myself @ Shaw Towers Turkish Restaurant .... I always want to try it whenever i walked past but never had the chance till ytd....We ordered turkish bread with some weird dip, turkish pizza, kebahs and baked rice... Overall i find everything nice except the turkish dip. It's tastless !!! I thought turkish food are suppose to be very sweet ??? Anywei nothing beats Brisbane's Toowong's kebah ... It's the crispy wraps which i dun think they got in Spore...

After lunch.. we shop around suntec, marina sq and millinea walk.. we "attacked" Candy empire and both Wen and i bought the Mint M & Ms, $5 (well nv try b4 so dun mind spending the little more extra). Was tempted to buy the Honey Soy potato chips too but cost abt $6 bucks.. i dun think i wan to spend tat much on a packet of potato chips.. I shall make do with Jack & Jill's Roast Wings chips $1.40 ....

The M&M soothes the throat, give the throat a mild minty feeling... i like the taste... After that, its KTV time..Some random pics we took together.. Kbox has a new system, took a little time to fig out hw to use.. Luckily rain is quite experience.. i like the honey lemon drink very much..Cant remembered what i ordered the last time i went Tamp Kbox, it was smth nice too.



There were songs that made us or rather Wen extremely high .. like the Duck song and also the Jie Jie Mei Mei Zhan Chu Lai haha... After today's session, i think i need to do the following

-Brush up my chinese... i cant read alot of the words...
- Train my staminia.. vv breathless after singing.. i am amazed hw those singers can dance and sing at the same time.. POWER !!!
- Listen to more pop songs.. i noe nuts abt liang jing ru and sun yan zi songs... more familiar with male singers particially bcoz i admire their looks n particially bcoz i gt a "deeper" voice hehe...

That's all for sat's activities... Lets meet up with Su once she gets back k. I gona relax abit more tml...

Had a long day at work, met Hao after work for dinner at Xing Wang Cafe.... I guess Xing Wang cafe is my current fav place for meals after Pepper Lunch.. They serve so yummy food... delicious man.. anywei pardon the poor quality pics.. lazy to bring digi camera out nowadays so only make do with our lousy hp camera...

Tried new staff today..



Curry Chicken with bread.. Shiock man coz they remove all the chicken bones.. the chicken is just nice... but potato could be softer ... otherwise it's perfect...



Sweet and Sour chicken speagatti.. the sauce is nice too but spegatti taste abit blande.. other than tat the chicken is DAMMED SHiOCK.. i love the skin...



Prawn paste chicken.. oh boy i love the chef man.. theres no bones in it too.. mmm...



Good food must be accompained by nice drinks too.. the usual yuan yang and milk tea...

After dinner, we went for a walk to digest our tummy abit.. walked past this new boutique.. initially jus wanted to browse/window shop and tats the end of story.. However, i impulse buy a business suit (jacket + skirt).. i only gt one set at home and since my current job requires me to wear formal during client visit, no harm investing in another one. Plus the sweet talking sales girl who was persuading me to accumulate to 100 bucks and get 2 years membership (10%), i tot why nt, since i would be building my office wear collection.. So there i go impulse buying a business suit and a top.. i wanted to buy another skirt and a bag too but i stopped myself.. hw to save up if i keep spending money.. sianz...

I had a very stupid n lame bad dream ytd.. dreamt tat i went Istetan but interior was designed like Ikea.. Every toilet cubicle was guarded by a fierce dog.. I was v urgent but i am also scared of dogs.. welll the rest is history.. lame rite?

Work is goin on fine.. vv fast 1 week has pass again.. my ads seems to attract lots of Indians and Filipinos.. what to do? They are in deed more experienced in IT field than the locals.. where are all the chinese?? My Clients seem to be prefer Chinese Singaporeans or at least a SG PR.. but Sporeans are pampered pple who hates travelling long journey to work and long working hours (shift work).. i dun deny i belong to this catagory too.. I admire those pple who stay in JB and dont mind travelling from JB to Tampines to work.. Yes the Malaysians are hardworking pple...

The majority of Sporeans including myself are unwilling waste time and money on travelling and transport.. For myself, i rather do with a lower pay, sleep an extra hour and spend 1 hr lesser to get to my work place.. For a few hundred bucks of difference, you just got to weigh between the pros n cons.. This is only just one part of the big story i learnt from my current experience.. will share more next time.. i am vv sleepy.. dozin off soon...

i Hate it when pple dilly dally.. it's jus pisses me off.. Jus bcoz ur the hiring company doesnt mean the whole world is goin to wait for you.. candidates have legs and by the time u decide ur free to interview them, they already sign the LOA with another company. Come on wheres the sense of urgency.. Sayin this position is very urgent looking for pple and here you are dilly dallying taking 2 weeks to get back to us. Stupid !!! I pity the poor candidates who keep callin and emailing us on hws the progress.. i wonder if they noe hw to spell the word efficient ant..Anywei i am nt too bother by these problems as long as i get my pay in my bank account at the end of the month.. muhaha..

After grumbling abt work... the next thought on my mind is Food. Craving for sizzler's salad buffet now.. the cold pasta, cheese nachos, salad kind of food.. i wish to have a more healthy kind of diet..less meat more fish n vegs... i remembered i was complaining abt the damed cold winter last July and hw nice if i am back in Sunny Spore.. But nw i wish i am in freezing Brisbane... i pay AUD 10 bucks for a bowl of toowong laska .. the spiciest i ever tasted after the one at Changi Airport terminal 2 foodcourt (the shop has closed down already)... nw i dun even have a substitute in sg... i am very unhappy... =(

Has it been a long time since i last blog ??? Not really i hope..Kind of lazy to blog nowadays.. some of my frenz are also not blogging as regularly as the last time where blogs are much more popular.. due to sch/work i guess... i am startin to slack too hehe...

After 3 weeks, i guess this job isnt as bad as i thought.. will certainly try to stay on at least till the end of this year ?? Still early to confirm but at least i have learnt new stuff and build up my confidence through conducting interviews... i have been busy with interviews, touching up of resumes as well as rushing reports the last week... i have also started to post ads on Jobstreet hehe...

Other than work, i have FINALLY collet the NDP preview tickets that i won through the ballot online hehe.. the preview is on 29th July.. not sure if i am gona go considering the crowd.. but since i gt the tix and its a rare opportunity maybe i shld go.. well see how la.. hehe

Anywei i am kind of hungry now so i decided to do this to satisfy my hunger...the best food i have ever tasted... fr Japanese to Korean to Thai to Taiwanese to Hong Kong to Vietnamese to Chinese to turkish to malaysian to american... heehee YUMMY !!!!
