My client's procurement is making my life miserable and i am going Nuts because of her and the reports. In fact i dread opening my mail box each morning ! Really feel like dumping this shit !!! But i guess i shall stay put for the time being until i complete my wedding as i foresee i will be taking alot of leaves.
To those who are planning for wedding, pls use your leaves carefully.. Thank god there's a 2 days additional off in lieu this year and i can take marriage leaves. I got a feeling i gona max out my leaves when the reno starts..

The latest topic revolving around my circle of frenz are DBSS, wedding and babies...
DBSS is the latest housing project- flats with condo like furnishing minus the facilities. I'm glad i didnt wait for Parc Lumiere .. it's on a first come first serve basis which means Q-ing up for hours which i think is not necessary. The 4-room units at Parc Lumiere are priced between S$378,000 and S$425,000 which is around the resale price range for Simei HDB. Weighing the pros and cons, i still think resale is better for my case as i prefer our current location and with some reno, we can also have a cosy home.

Wedding bells are ringing .. i'm glad i have frenz who been through marriage life to give me advice and also frenz who are going through the same stages to share info. In turn these wonderful memories and experience will be pass down to the rest. i Can't wait for Jolie, Kx and Janice to choose their gowns.. it's my fav activity currently. I'm looking fwd to the next appt with the bridal store next week.
Babies Some are keen to start the next chapter of their life immediately after marriage while some prefers to enjoy first. This year there are 4 baby cows coming to this world 3 boys and 1 girl. The boys are all due in July/Aug... hmmm so for those who want boys u know when to start pjt B .... :D i cant imagine myself with a XXL belly though i have a S belly .

2 weeks ago we were in HK bz with shopping, sight seeing and photo taking.. i wish we can turn back time again.. I probably head down to Arglye Center for the jap mian mian and grab some bags if i am there this min. At this timing we probably jus got back to the hotel and bz with snapping pics of our victory items... Today we finally consolidated our photos !!! I *heart* them all.. too many to post here but i have posted some in facebook...
We meet up at 10:15am, had a quick breakfast @ KFC and grocery shop @ NTUC. Our agenda was easy as we were only planning to bake 2 different types of cakes,pumpkin soup and pasta.
Here's our feast at Ash house... My fav is the pumpkin soup and cheesy baked pasta... the mushroom & seafood pasta was also a unique flavour but i very much prefer without the herbs ha ha...

After our feast, we head off to Ikea.. noted down a few concepts for Dressing table, Kitchen Washing area and Dinning table that i like to apply to my new home.. it was tiring after a day of cooking and baking but there were many chairs and sofa to rest every 5 steps you walk.. so not too bad..
Ended the day with Baileys back @ Ash house again... i concluded i am not a cake person.. i guess i prefer to do more cooking like pasta, wrapped dumplings, po pia, fried rice etc...

Last Sunday, we brought our parents to visit our love nest to be.. it was a short walk from Simei Mrt and along the way we were pointing out the amenities like food courts, cc, atm machines etc etc...i guess we made a good choice.
The current owner is still in the midst of packing and the house is kind of messy as in clutterd with her stuff.. her son was also at home and sitting in the room, hence i didnt take any photos of the rooms. We will be scheduling another visit during the first week of May before our 2nd Appt on 6th May 09. Will try to take the photos again when the house is cleared of the items.

Right now we are enjoying the process of gathering design ideas and themes for our love nest. For those who knows Hubby Hao, he is very good in drawing and this comes in handy for designing our cabinets and house layout. Wish i can draw like him but for the time being, i just grab pics off the web.

I've been looking forward to 10th Apr 09, Good Friday, a day where every girl looks forward to. I'm glad i have with my dear Hubby Hao , Estee and Meimei to help me dress up like a princess that day. Poor Estee ended up with sore fingers from the zippings...i'm so sorry =P
We reach Bliss around 2pm and there was already a couple trying in progress. Ruby, the original person who attended to me when i signed up for the package was there but Jenny attended to me instead. I guess Jenny will be my co-ordinator. We were seated and given a few albums on flower bouquets to browse but we decided to choose them another time until we finalize the gowns. Next we settle for the estimated ROM and photoshoot dates.
Now for the moment i've been looking forward to, i shared with Jenny some rough ideas of what i'm looking for. I like to try the different styles (halter, tubes, lace, embroidery, bubbles etc etc) to see which one suits my figure and skin tone best.. She started bringing out some collections... everyone look so pretty... hard to make a choice...

As photography is forbidden, Estee managed to sneak her camera in her Jeans pocket and followed me to the changing room.. There were 2 rooms and one of them is rather small and cramp..the exciting part was trying to get into the can can, dress up and snap some pics b4 the coordinator barge in. Luckily Estee was the one with me otherwise i feel weird being topless... Mei Mei took over almost towards the end.
I tried on in total 8 wedding gowns , 7 evening gowns and 2 outdoor gowns... I'm not gona post the gowns pic for the time being as i like my gowns to be a surprise.. so just use ur imagination
Wedding Gown
No 1: Spaghetti strap with beaded floral embroidery over the cheast & tummy
No 2: Strapless gown (half cup) with beaded floral embroidery on the tummy, back n bottom of the gown
No 3: Strapless gown (3/4 cup) with beaded embroidery over the whole chest, tummy, v shape all the way to the bottom with cross strings back
No 4: Halter with a deep V floral lace patches, peach slim sash ribbon and netted lace back
No 5: Strapless gown (half cup) with embroidery on the chest tip, along the wasist and at the bottom with a nice long pleated tail
No 6: High nck satin gown with side split across bustier and beaded lace and chiffon ruffles

No 8: Strapless gown with lace, embroidery with a coloured ribbon tail

Evening Gowns
No 1: Pink flowery embroidery with lavendar layer over the inverted split V at the side
No 2: Pink base & Gold embroidery halter with peacock like bottom with huge rose buds
No 3: Mid night blue with bubble bottom and flower embroidery on the tummy and side, criss cross strings behind
No 4: Black base & Gold embroidery on the front with chinese collar & peacock like bottom
No 5: Dirty Green halter with embroidery at the tummy and bottom side
No 6: Purple tube with gathered crumple top and plain bottom
No 7: Teal colour tube with embroidery at the tummy and champane gold ribbon, criss cross strings behind
Outdoor Gown
* I gona reselect my outdoor gown another day, guess Jenny, myself and everybody else was too tired to see anymore..
No 1: Spaghetti flower pattern Strap with simple embroidery and inverted split v
No 2: Flexible string like strap which you can tie it as halter or spaghetti with flower patches
Next Jenny brought out 3 suits for Hubby Hao.. 1 white and 2 black.. All look the same to me.. the only difference are the buttons.. lol guys dont have much choice.. We saw one guy wearing tuxedo but i think he look like a magician.
* Hubby Hao is also going to reselect them again for better designs..
Some interesting incidents during gown fitting
I thought i shall end this post with a funny incident.. here goes
I was dress in a dark coloured evening gown and waiting for the changing room. Estee commented if the ballroom lights off, people probably cant see me in the gown that i am wearing currently.. Then the curtain open and a bride to be step out in a luminous green gown, i'm not kidding it's luminous green like those pants that the lion dance troupe wear...
My immediate words were, ohh if it's that dresss i tink lights off also can see me? It was just a innocent question, i didnt think too much but i saw Estee and Jenny shaking their heads vigourously and Estee ran inside the room trying to sniffle her giggles.. i only managed to "catch" the joke 30 secs later.. i wished i took a snapshot of the green gown... it look somthing like the green below but brighter
I know it doesnt sound funny here but i will share during our meet up sessions... i'm still wondering what's wrong with the gayish designer.. he seems to be picking out very plain and weird colour evening gowns for the bride (maroon, luminous green, shocking pink) or issiz the bride request..I guess i really offended the designer unknowingly coz after that i was holding on to a dark purple gown and he told me it doesnt suit my skin tone.. bleh..
Thank you so much for making feel like a princess in those gorgeous gowns.. The pictures look fantastic but i guess i shall keep them as secret for the time being. Special thanks to Estee, Mei Mei, Hubby Hao and of coz Jenny who did all the hard work for bringing out the gowns.
Currently i am satisfied with my height, skin tone and all I need is to slim down alittle more to achieve my desired figure. It was tough breathing in and zipping for poor Estee who ended up with sore fingers...

Coming to 3 yrs in my company, my initial plans for 2009 was to move out of recruitment and into a wider role in HR during the first quater. However it doesnt seem to be a wise decision to move on now and perhaps i shall postpone this plane to Q1 2010 after my wedding. Anyway boss just spoke to me about added responsibilities and promotion today. Perhaps this is an indication for me to stay on for a while more...
2 more days to surive b4 the long weekend kicks in... i'm excited for the coming Friday to pick out the wedding gown.. been looking at many wedding pics and i roughly got an idea of what i want. I guess i will only know which designs suit me best after trying them on since different people have different body structures. Kind of late to shred fats now hur...
Another major event that keeps me excited would be the house viewing this coming sunday with our parents.. i hope the house dont disappoint them. We are very satisfied with the location and also house layout.. will try to take some photos to update here...
I'm secretly wishing for a baby pink bedroom and a red/white/black theme for the kitchen and living room....
Shall adopt the following 3 for the kitchen.
