OWwwwww.. does this sound familiar to you ?

Well i woke up and saw the 1st sms of the day.. "Hey Michael Jackson is dead " for the first time, i woke up giggling.. i tot it's a joke.. Then i went office as usual and the min i sat down.. the colleague next to me made this sound OwwwWwww..

Opened up Asia1 website and i finally believe its for real...He died at 50 years old. Cause of death > Heart Attack but some other news reported it could be due to the long term pain killer medication he is taking..

Here's my closest contact with him.. a wax figure of Michael Jackson from HK...Wherever he is now, may he rest in peace



Apart from him, another famous celebrity also passed away coz of cancer, she acted in Charlie Angel's back in the 70s or 80s... plus one Korean actor died in a car accident..So many death in one day.. hiaz...

Today i also received an email from our management, as long as we are travelling to H1N1 infected countries, we have to self qurantine for 1 week before reporting back to work.. so i guess travel plans are out for me for the time being.. i was looking fwd to go JB to visit city square... i hope the situation improves by next year as i am looking fwd to visit a few places..

Our strawberry house is almost due for completion... it feels great to see new updates each time we pop by our house for a visit.. Today our neighbours said hi and i invited them into our house.. they seem fascinated with our living room lights...

Currently our kitchen is being overdose by red elements.. Thank god our ugly pipes are being cover up now... We need some black/white elements to counter it... its time to plan what we need so that we can set aside some budget.. Any kind souls want to sponser us ??

- Fridge (my mom)
- Washing Machine (my mom)
- Hot plate (my mom)
- Rice Cooker (Hao's mom)
- Steamboat Set (Hao's mom)
- Pots and Frying Pan (Hao's mom)
- Toaster /Sandwich maker
- Hot Water flask
- Microwave
- Plates /Bowls (I grab some from my home)
- Glasses ( ** I have been dilligently eating macdonalds for the past few weeks)
- Cutlery

As for our living room, we just need to get our Sofa custom make and also the TV. Items required include the following

- Standing Fan
- DVD player with KTV function
- Wii (Modified version)

For dinning room, we will be getting chairs only as Hao's dad will make the dinning tables for us, i have got some cute table mats from HK previously..

For our bedroom, we will be getting our bed frames, matress and bedsheets......

That's about all.. shant reveal much here until the renovation is completed... we are looking fwd to the completion and shifting some stuff in by early August.

Pop by to visit our home today and we were pleasantly surprise with the progress.. the toilet stuff were installed , kitchen cabinets and guest room wardrobes in the midst of installation, store room ledge in progress and walls 80% completed.. I love the colours.. it really brighten up the house alot !Cant wait to see the finished products.

Had our lunch at Changi Airport and took a bus down to Marina floating bay to collect our NDP tickets... B4 collection we were asked to ans a survey.. I am proud to be a Singaporean because ........... * well i was blank and Hao wrote a politically right but crappy answer.. anyway....i hope this wont affect my chances of bidding for the NDP tickets next year =P

Next on our itinery was the Capsule Ride.. we got 2 free tickets !! Yea i know i very sua ku most of my frenz had went long time ago...There's only me, hubby hao and 2 other ladies inside the capsule ...

It's my 2nd time on a ferris wheel.. the first ride was taken in Taipei and it was a little shaky compared to the SG one.. I still remembered the killing me softly song they played... >X<

Here in our very own SG flyer, the scenery were mainly our landscapes and construction sites as the sands & casino are still in making.. we spotted the marina barriage, sultan mosque, esplande, merlion as well as Hao's office...

i Luv being on leave on Monday !!! sooo shiock.. no monday bluess...

Caught up with Ah Li and Steph on Sunday...we had Mac breakfast and went to the new party world at Liang Court.. We also tried the famous tan po po cakes.. absoutely soft and spongy.. i like !!!

It's big like a maze inside the new Party World and i like the way their system sort their songs via countries > male/female.. I wish to have ktv in my house but where am i gona get those cds ??? If only i can connect youtube to my tv and mute the singer lol...





Everyone seems to have slim down alot for their weddings how come my face is still round round.. i guess it's too late for me to do anything... our photoshoot is in anOther one month... i shall just hand our fates in their photoshop skills ..

Today's plan is to collect my ROM dress but after trying it on, it seems to be abit long...Another round of alteration is required which means i can only collect it next week. I also manage to find a pair of wedding shoes that i like and easy to wear. It's on discount too.

We had lunch at Pasta House ,by Sakae.. It's our first visit and there were so many varieties that it took us some time to decide.. we shared one pasta, order a side, dessert & a drink.

After shopping around for some time we were quite thirsty and we chance upon this dessert store at Heeren's basement.. they sell ice cream, dim sum and desserts.. the food taste good but the service sucks.. the auntie is so rude.. i feel like walking away but my legs need to rest ..

Novelty has died down at Tampines One and it's not as crowded as a few months back...

We had dinner at Manpuku and we waited for less than 3 mins before we were assigned to a table..but the wait for our food was a little long as it was made on the spot right in front of you...similar to Marche concept

I've nv spent so much money in my life... for those who are getting house , do remember to do your homework (budgeting, asking around, research on web and seek frenz opinions).

Special thanks to Estee for sharing her experience... this has really helped us alot.

In case you are wondering how much we have spent on this house already.. i can say till date its almost 18k CASH (Including Agency commission, 1k Deposit, Renovation, Lightings, Toilet stuff, Aircon & Misc). Amazing right ?? And the best thing is my father in law is in contracting business and he helped to absorb most of the cost and managed to get us discount for toilet items, Aircon etc.. So in actual fact its suppose to be more than 18k... there's more coming up.. furnitures ....

Well it's all for one common goal that is to have a cosy home and a place for gathering.. we're looking forward to the completion... and also June's payday !!! I need cash......

Just a quick update on my weekend ...

Fri - I got a private call on Friday afternoon and thank god i decided to answer it.. coz i WON the NDP preview tickets... it's gona be the first time i watch NDP at Marina Floating Bay... yipee !!!

Sat- Watched Ghost of the Girlfriend Past with Desiree on Sat afternoon.. it's quite meaningful and touching...esp on family, kinship and relationship.. then Liwen joined us in the later part for dinner @ Xing Wang tw cafe. We had walked the citylink many times and always wanted to try Shokudu which is now closed and replaced with Xing Wang TW cafe.. better try it b4 it's gone like Shokudo...same goes for our Dessert Marvellous Ice Cream.

Here's our starters... Guan Cai Fan (Coffin Rice).. the crust of the toast is crispy and tasty and the fillings is creamy...It would tast perfect if the filling is hot/warm.



Desiree's Ru Luo Fan (Braised Meat Rice)... the gravy is tasty..



Liwen's thickened soup with Bee Hoon.. it taste like the sharkfin's soup at wedding dinners..



My Crispy Cheesy Chicken Chop.. i didnt taste the cheese at all but the chicken is YUmmy...



And our dessert is Marvellous Ice cream..It's the ice cream shop at the end of the citylink beside the exit to Suntec...somehow their style is quite similar to cold rock where they mash the fruits/nuts and syrups into the ice cream...





For our next meet up, we shall try the Hotpot culture @ Marina Sq !!!

Sun - Went down to our new house today. We noticed the new power plugs and light switches are up and aircon installed... :D more updates in the wedding blog.

I Love Hubby Hao !!!

He bought me cushioned plasters when my toes has blisters and he bought me a MP3 player in the shape of Mickey Mouse Head. Thank you very much. Mucks !!!

Just a little update on our house reno progress.. we have selected our toilet stuffs, aircon and kichen cabinets should be up by next week. Coming up next would be selection of lights.... *We are looking fwd to completion in early July.

This is a happening week in Office.. We started off Monday with KTV @ Top 1 which is just behind our office after work and ended the week with some unpleasant incident on Fridy.. Though it was just a misunderstanding but i believe there's still an impact on all of us.. I just hope my colleague is feeling better over the weekend and this incident will blow over soon...

Anyway this sat, we have our girly outing..as usual with Ash around, she will fatten all of us up with her wondering cooking skills.. we had our cheese/choc fondue... i am so in love with the apples, strawberries and grapes...





Was suppose to go cycling but we all seem rather lazy as we grow older.. so we opted for ktv session .. can sit n sing ... no sweat but in comfort

We ended off the day with a pedi session..Check out our nail polish collections :P

Today - Sunday

Hubby Hao & i laze at home whole day with pinky (my laptop).. watching dramas/show away from the city crowd.. went out to whitesands for dinner and to Ikea to check out the showflats..

I like this kind of weekends... so shiok... cant wait for our new home to be ready...
