Thanks for the lovely surprise from Hao in the previous post... i am so guilty for doing nothing for this yr v-dae. But i guess most of us are celebrating Valentine Day on every other day.. so why bother to spend xtra and let business earn our money. The best present we have for each other today is the time spent together and working towards our dream home...

We had our gerlie outing on friday after work..i'm glad most of us could make it.. when 4 gers get together, there are endless things to talk about like the recent topics on proposals, houses and wedding stuff + reviving the embarrasing stuff we did back in sec sch...so there's gona be a round 2 and hopefully this time ms kacee will be able to make it.. we're dying for ur updates...perhaps round 3 with Lihua when she's back from Europe.. *lucky gal*

We settled for MOF @ Bugis and were lucky enough to get a very private cosy corner.. thanks to our long lost sec sch friend who is a supervisor there we got a 30% discount.. *though i dun recall him at all.. bleh..*

What's with 2009 ??? Wedding seems to be the Number One topic of the year.. All my friends are discssing about wedding, houses etc.. Even the movies are all about Wedding (Wedding Game, Bride War etc..) I caught both the movies and i think Bride War left a deeper impression on me.. Though it's only a short 86 mins movie i think it's pretty meaningful..

For those who haven watch, do watch it with your ger frenz ..it's really nice...shant reveal much of the story line here..

31st Jan 09 marks the 8th year anniversary for Hao and me..Throughout these 8 yrs there were ups and downs for the both of us esp during the time when i was away in Aust. i'm glad we'r progress further each year and perhaps we will be getting hitch by early 2010 ... i'm looking fwd to set up our very own home...

However b4 we make this serious commitments, we are busy doing our maths with the help of magazines, internet, friends (Esp Estee who has been providing the major bulk of info)... from housing stuff to wedding stuff.. we really appreciate your sharing. The amount we are expecting to spend could be quite scary.. for house alone be prepared to spend at least 30k (Reno + Furnitures + Downpayment) and for wedding 30k ...

Hence from nw on i'm gona control my spending a little more tightly.. with exceptions to my upcoming HK trip = P yes the air tix + hotel are finally booked .. so nw we can sit back, relax and countdown... 48 days more to go...
