I had a looooooonnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg day.... Of all days, things always choose to happen when boss is out for seminar and everyone is taking a slower pace on a Friday !!!

However, it's a blessing in disguise when everything falls into place before i leave at least my backup colleague would not be bothered with so many coordination. I hope nothing goes wrong when i am abroad.

Suffer first and enjoy the holiday trip with a peace of mind.

Ok here's my updates..

We officially went for our first appointment with HDB on 18 Mar 09. Got ourselves to TPY HDB hub at 9am and we had or breakfast @ Macdonald before turning up at HDB hub lobby. Btw, I saw those models of the BTO houses at Punggol.. so that's where Janice and Kaixi took the pics.. i wonder where is the showflats..

Anyway at 9:30am we spotted our seller, a friendly Auntie and our Agent - David turn up right on the dot at 9:45am. He got us our queue number and there we sat staring anxiously at the tv screen.

The first part was easy, the official confirmed our marital status, verify our income and pass on the file to another official in the room.

For round 2,we waited for almost half an hour b4 we were called to see the official Mr Teo. It was a horrifying experience.. he actually test my maths on the spot for CPF contribution.. my maths really sux so i ask for his calculator... :P

Anyway everything was settled within 10 mins, there were lots of documents for us to sign and by the time we finish i was totally blur already but at the same time relieved. It's a major progress for us... We're looking fwd to get our keys in the first week of May.

We thanked our Agent David and pass him the commission. He is really a nice and patient guy unlike other agents who are quite pushy.. I hope his service level maintains even though we already paid him his full commission.

Next we head off to Tampines Mall to get our wedding bands which i already shortlisted 2 designs i had in mind from Goldheart and Soo Kee.. we settle for Goldheart since they are having more than 50% discount. It's really a good buy as Soo Kee and Lee Hwa are selling at least 2X the price of Goldheart for similar design. Can't wait to collect them on 1st Apr 09... Coming up next would be the gown selection on 10th Apr 09.

Lastly we headed for Ikea to survey their showrooms.. not much changes but they do have some new designs...our colour theme shall be black, white and red..

So that's all for this week, i am off to HK... OHHH i must remember to File for my ROM date.. VVVV important.. jotting down here to remind ourselves..
