There's lots of headline news lately, tiger bitting man to death @ the zoo, Thai airports closure as well as the Mumbai attacks etc...Feel sad for those innocent people left stranded in foreign countries or hiding in fear esp the Sporean hostage who was killed. She just got married last year and a new chapter of her life just started. I hope the situation turns better these few days.

Our govt is also tightenin their internal security checks... All candidates have to go through security clearance which takes min 2 to 3 months to clear before they can apply for govt pjts. Making recruiters' life miserable.. or rather my colleagues who are handling govt pjts. Spore PRs are probably not even in the consideration list as long as they are from Islamic countries.. it's kind of sensitive but after reading so many news on terrorists attacks i understand their concerns...

With so much happenings plus the recession we are facing..the job market will be slowing down and tightening... i'm glad i graduated earlier and have some wking experience but i feel more companys are either freezing their headcount or tigtening their budget.. i guess i should just hang on for awhile more since i am still quite comfortable with what i am doing.
