Thanks to National Day + the leave i took on friday.. its a looonnnggg weekend for me..
8th Aug 07 - Thursday
I finally met up with Miss Estee on National Day itself for brunch.. decide on Mirama Hotel Dim Sum Buffet.. I had read good reviews about them over the internet plus David my poly friend is always asking us to go there ..
Conclusion- Food (Average), Service (Can be improved >> serving time), Price (Cheap), Overall ( 6.5/10)
Round 2 we decide on Liang Seah Street for dessert... tried the original/authetic dessert store which was recommended by Desmond Koh on Channel U food show.. Estee ordered the herbal jelly (Gui Lian Gao) while i ordered my Yam sago...
Conclusion- Dessert (Above Average), Service (Good), Price (Affordable), Overall ( 8/10)
Round 3 met up with Hao at TM... conincidently Steph was also on her way there to meet her pri sch frenz... we went to 5 star tours to make some enquires.. i am looking fwd, getting excited.. but at the same time, we have lots of things to consider. Like whether we can take leave during the same period and cash... *fingers cross* i gona speak to our Director next week..
Hao & I watched "Secret" by Jay Zhou.. its a veryvery nice show.. the songs they play and the plot was unexpected.. i tot it was a ghost story...worth the $$.. i enjoy the show very much..
I nv expect Jay Zhuo can play piano with one hand or with his back facing the piano.. its really amazing.. he is really talented.

I met Michelle, my ex colleague for lunch.. She just came back from Taipei too. Guess the place from the Pics...

Round 2, i meet Steph for KTV.. Been a long long time since we hit the karaok.. decided to try out Party World.. my 1st time there ...their songs are veryvery new...including Mayday, Fang Da Tong, Zhang Dong Liang etc etc..it's easier to find the singers compared to Kbox.. in addition, they have 2 types of koropoks + fruits while kbox only have 1 basket of nuts..
Overall experience was good..now i am thinking of applying partyworld member lol...coz they have pearl milk tea ...
Round 3, we decide to make a bold attempt to explore Geylang.. yess.. Singapore's redlight district.. my advise is always go in a mixture of group.. i mean not all guys and only 1 ger.. coz u will get approach..
So the 2 of us took bus 7 from Orchard and we alight at the opposite direction.. meaning to say we have to walk right through 2 streets to get to the other side.. we were hesistating to walk through the alleys.. end up after we got down, we saw one whole row of xxx dressing skimply(u know what) standing at the pathment.. they were staring at us .. as if we were out to snatch their business... i feel very much ashame to be walking on the same pathment as them...its so disgusting..
Anyway after that scary 30 secs.. we decide to walk further down and use the mainroad as it was much brighter and cars were busy and hence less scary..BUT we were wrong.. the traffic light junction were full of XXX.. it was 10 times scary than the pathment.. i see different races, different nationalities.. and that was the LONGEST traffic light in my entire life... we were ready to run if there wasnt any cars...luckily we are obviously the odd one out ... i jokingly told steph.. xian zai bu liu xing xin gan.. xian zai liu xing ke ai zun qing shao nu (meaning to say >> sexy is no longer in.. the current trend is cute/innocent young gers like us).. haha making lame jokes to keep our mind distracted while waiting for the traffic light to turn green...
Finally it turned green and we brisk walk as fast as our legs can take us.. end up we had kwey chap for dinner and tao hua for dessert.. our initial plan was to find the frog porridge.. but we cant find .. =(
That's not the end.. we flag a cab to get home as it was quite late..the moment we got in, the stupid uncle turn up his music volume.. and he was playing (JI Ba Ban>> a hokkien song)... kaoz we were so irritated.. and he drove like F1 driver.. beating red lights.. driving into restricted area (one way street).. We had a bad feeling hence i told steph to get off at Eunos instead of continuing to her home.. thank god we did that.. if not i dono what will happen..
